Rugby FoodbankIf you would like to help feed local people in crisis in Rugby you can donate items from this list to be taken to the Rugby food bank. Items can be dropped off here between 11-12 midday 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, Sunday mornings 10am or telephone 860523

 What will the Rugby food banks provide?

–      Emergency food for local people in crisis.

–      3 days’ worth of nutritionally balanced food for a household, a maximum of three times.


Why are some people in crisis?

–      Today across Rugby some people are struggling to feed themselves. Redundancy, illness, benefit delay, domestic violence, debt, etc. are some of the reasons why people go hungry.


Who can benefit from the food bank?

–      Those who are referred by care professionals in Rugby.


Why are Christians getting involved with this?

–      Jesus said, “For I was hungry and you fed me,

thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger

and you invited me in…” Matt: 25: 35.
